    The Compendium contains users' scientific abstracts on their research and was produced in hard copy and CD formats until 2001. The ALS Compendium is no longer being produced, but the Compendium contents, from 1997 to 2001, can be viewed online at the Compendium of User Abstracts Web page.

  7. "Workshop on Scientific Directions at the Advanced Light Source," LBNL-42014. Summary and reports of the working groups from the Scientific Directions at the Advanced Light Source workshop, held at the ALS on March 23-25, 1998. This report identifies the elements of the most compelling scientific program for the ALS and makes recommendations for a roadmap to implement that program. Printed copies are available while supplies last.
