Abstracts

ALS users, staff, post-docs, and students are invited to submit abstracts for the general poster session or student poster competition at this year's users' meeting.

The deadline for abstract submissions for the poster session and the student poster competition has been extended to Tuesday, September 15.

NOTE: If you have already registered but would still like to submit an abstract, email it to alsum@lbl.gov with the subject line: Abstract Submission 2009.

The poster sessions will be held jointly with the Molecular Foundry on the ALS Patio on Thursday, October 15, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The poster board size is 4 ft wide by 4 ft tall (1.2 m square); push pins will be provided.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstracts may be submitted when registering by uploading a PDF file. Please submit short (200 words or less) abstracts and indicate the topic session (below) for your poster. Students are particularly encouraged to submit posters for the student competition; winners will receive cash awards.

*Please note: The winner of the Student Poster Competition delivers a 15-minute talk during the meeting, so all entrants must be prepared to give an oral presentation about their work.
