Three major airports serve the San Francisco Bay Area: San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. While cost is certainly a consideration when choosing an arrival airport, please keep the following travel information in mind:
Driving time to Grand Hyatt Commute Hours Noncommute Hours From San Francisco 1 hour 0.5 hour From Oakland 2 hours 1 hour From San Jose 3 hours 2 hours
We strongly recommend that participants do not rent cars for this conference. Transportation from all airports is available, and public transportation in San Francisco is relatively inexpensive and easy to use. Parking at most downtown hotels costs $12-$18 per day.

Directions to the Grand Hyatt Hotel
The address of the Grand Hyatt on Union Square is 345 Stockton St., San Francisco.
From San Francisco International Airport
From Oakland International Airport
Another (less time efficient) option from the Oakland Airport is Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). Take a shuttle bus to the Coliseum BART Station ($1.00) and then take BART to the Powell St. Station in San Francisco, which is four blocks from the hotel ($5.00).
From San Jose International Airport
Information about public transportation will be available at the conference and at all hotels. A wealth of transit information for the Bay Area is available through the
San Francisco Bay Area Transit Information web site.
